Bio:

By the size of Texas, the lost continent found somewhere in the Pacific, going by the moniker “Birth Island”, became a “ No-Travel” zone for all types of transport vehicles. It is also a quarantined zone; ever since the Hiroshima Bombing, the island was fully exposed to radiation, and through this, every living organism in that island were fully mutated, some growing the size of a tower, others developing strange abilities. Expeditions on the island are highly prohibited.

But by the time the team NIGHTjUNK was been made in 2008, they were the first to fully explore the island. Nevertheless, only they were given authority to lead groups and organize expeditions.

By 2014, the Nj team had more members; as a way of educating newbie members, some of the team’s more skilled members started a program to fully explore the island, as both a fieldtrip and a surveillance.

In one summer in that year, the team leader himself heads the group. Exploring deep into this domain, leader, Paul L. and his group stumbled upon a fight between two monsters.

The two monsters challenge each other for dominance in territory. An armored, beaked-headed quadruped known as Stonudon advances at his aggressor, the spiked Bromasaurus. The dinosaur fought back, swiping the reptile with scratches, but nevertheless did any damage at all. The four-legged living armor had his advantage; charging against the beast with his might and hopes to tackle it down. The attempt failed in vain as Broma tail-whipped the reptile. Stonudon defended itself, catching the swinging tail, the armored reptile held on in hopes of a miracle of defeating the large predator. In annoyance, Broma gathered all of his strength and lifted the beaked dinosaur up the ground and began pummeling him to the ground with it. In full pain, Stonudon lets go and began to retreat. Now gaining the upper hand; the horned monster rams its foe on the head, again and again until Stonudon was forced out. Proudly the victor, Bromasaurus roars.

After his defeat with Broma, Stonudon somehow made his way to Pupa, New Guinea and ravaged cities in there, claiming territory. EDF sends in their troops, hoping to silence the creature. Along these troops was a mutant Chinese girl, Lee Xing, a newbie in EDF gifted with extra ordinary feats of physical strength.

Upon arrival, they circled the whole area in search of the monster, last sighted on a forest nearby a town. Lee Xing’s fighter was along the group, and it wasn’t long before the monster arrives. Breaking out of the dirt, the armored beast attacked the fleet, destroying some in the process and challenges the others with a roar. The fleet counter attacked, raining the skies with bullets which easily bounced off by the monster’s armor. Xing, seeing no need to harm the creature, devises a plan, but was neglected by her senior pilots saying the beast already made too many damage around him.

Along the attack, one of the pilots saw a weak spot. It turns out not all part of the creature was armored; there’s at least one below its hide that wasn’t covered by its hard shell. The fleet then tricked the creature to rise on its hind legs, exposing its unprotected belly over the other fighters to attack. Direct hit; Stonudon felt the increasing pain and let out a low bellow before dropping down injured.

Just as the pilots decided to kill the creature, Xing interferes, purposely shooting the others before landing next to the fallen beast. The others land their planes and confront the Chinese girl. While Xing argues with her seniors, Stonudon must have understood her intentions and protected her when one of the agent pulls out his gun and aims it at her. Roaring in defense, the dinosaur, grateful for what Xing did, retreated back underground heavily injured from the attack.

Whether it survived the attack or not, Xing knew that what she did was the right thing. Perhaps it is better to start treating these creatures more like animals, rather than a menace…

( Xing’s heroic act may not had ended in vain, for a Stonudon, unknown if the same creature or perhaps another, was seem in Mt. Fuji living in the same territory with Baragon.)

Powers and abilities:
~heavy hide strong enough to withstand almost any attack
~ can even fully protect itself by compressing / shortening its tail, hiding its limbs and tucking its neck in.
~burrowing ability
~ can produce a high-pitched shriek that either blocks off attacks or destroy anything around it
~has a weak spot on its belly
