History:

nesting first at a mountainous region of Japan, he was worshipped by tribes by the name of Baradagi-Sanjin or O-Baki. When scientist came unto the village to research about the so-called God, they unwillingly disturbed the creature, creating havoc for the tribes. This event later angered the tribe and punished the scientists as they believed they had disturbed it. This event became the infamous "Kunishiroshima valley massacre".

Varan wasn't heard of since then until the time of the new millennium, where man's technology reached new heights and began disrupting the balance of nature. Varan was one of the more "natural" monsters, meaning people knew that his existence was due to nuclear exposure like the likes of Godzilla, Rodan and even Anguirus; for the people of this age, monsters like him are deviants but a common flaw by nature.

Recently, Varan learns to stay away from the concrete and steel filled cities and stay at his island home with the rest of Earth's monsters; Though, he would normally wander off to other isles, or continents, he still kept his distance from the humans and will (AND HE WILL) do anything when things get out of hand.
