Ryu Ghidorah - Mech Ghidorah by hewhowalksdeath Ryu Ghidorah - Mech Ghidorah by hewhowalksdeath
length: 100 meters
weight: 86,000 tons

Formed in 1954, after the Godzilla raid, The United Nations had established Earth Defense Force (EDF) due to uprising raids of mutated animals and, unbelievably, dinosaurs such as Godzilla himself. Through out the century, they had manufactured countless Anti-Kaiju weaponry and had spread around the world; Japan being the far most advanced.

From the infamous Oxygen Destroyer of Dr. Serizawa, to the now advanced Gotengo, EDF now structured towering mechs to match the monsters’ own strength and stature.

Ryu-Ghidorah was based on the design of an infamous kaiju that once attacked Tokyo during 2008. The JSDF had used the design to create a fully arsenal mech to fend of any attacking monsters. Out of the four, Ryu Ghidorah was second to the last to be used in field combat, and perhaps the only one that was used once.

By Autumn of 2014, the cosmic phemonenon known as the Crystal Shower had thousands of space crystals emitting cosmic energy land on Earth. Some of these crystals managed to land on the Arctic Regions and revived an ancient monster known as Desghidorah.

Jake Tezuka was asigned to the mech, a Japanese-American pilot who was currently in reposition to another mech since his prior unit, "The Asuka Fortress" was currently in repair. Ryu-Ghidorah managed to corner the dragon making its way to the Siberian regions. A short fight went on but Ryu's curcuits overheats due to the combined heat ommited by the mech's overrode engine and Desghidorah's magma. The mech was almost destroyed until the JSDF jets managed to divert the creature's attention.

Seeing that another one of Mothra's foes were revived, the Shobijins made themselves appear to Jake and willingly offered Mothra's aid in combat. Jake agrees and Mothra went on to battle the creature in his absence.

As Mothra battles Desghidorah, Ryu was repaired yet still unstable, but Jake still went to aid Mothra in return of her sacrifice and aid. By the time he got there, Mothra was nearly beaten, Jake attacks the dragon and battles him again for one final time.

~ flight at mach 7
~ can fire plasma beams at the middle head
~ can fire plasma lasers at the other two heads.
~can fire homing missiles from the two canisters located at the joint of its wings
~ rocket launchers located at the back to aid flight
~ can launch grapple arms to capture monsters (not good in combat)
~ can omit a level of force field to fend off any attacks.

Hm hm Well, practice makes perfection, I imagined it may took a while to achieve that deign, but the final result is really impressive.

Awesome job on Ryu Ghidorah. I've been waiting to see what he would look like ever since you told me about him.

I like how the other two heads seem to have blinders on. Its a unique touch to the Mecha Ghidorah concept.

since in my fanfic, Ghidorah's more of a mystic harbringer dragon than a fleshy alien. I have to redo mech-KG fully to fit my story. The blinders, again, are accidental. I gone lazy on thinking up designs for the two head, so I just drew them without the eyes.
