Here, Layla (and Alex) did the following:

I. Biology of Mundane and Magical Creatures
Report time! Draw a picture of your partner preparing for a presentation you both will be doing in class. It can be on the animal/monster you learned about earlier or something new. Remember, you draw your partner, not yourself!

II. Exotic Weapon Fighting
Practice! Draw your character training, sparring, practicing, polishing, etc... with their new weapon. Basically, it's time to get to know your weapon and how to use it!

~Well, since Layla came in short notice, She picked her unlucky cousinas her lab partner, and forces him to help her with the first asignment...and they happen to catch a nasty Hodag ([link]).

They caught it obviously, but, it gets hungry every now and then and it's Alex's job to feed it since he's oh so good with monsters~ (her words, not mine)

All the while, Layla's doing her second assignment: cleaning and loving her gun~! (look at her dedication! XD)
