“advertising” of NIGHTjUNK’s return (post link here), featuring the girls (well, those who I’ve introduced already at least).
Helga Trowell- A German trainee psychic with the ability to manipulate earth, came to Japan to be with her new heroes: "NIGHTjUNK" (a name Otsune gave to her friends collectively because "We're mysterious like the night, and we're the outcast of today's new age society").
As a fan, she shows them her ability to create "boulder gloves" out of any earth matter, giving the immediate approval of the team's leader Paul.
However, as eager as Helga is to be with her heroes, the challenge she had to face had yet to start..."
Helga is a bit of a test; I wanted to try different kinds of characters, and one of them as a plump girl. The character was a cute cheerful girl who is chubby, yet very strong despite her figure. I figured a rock manipulator was a nice touch, a little basic, but otherwise working, but the real challenge came in her head.
Should she wear glasses? short hair? styled? In the end, with her being German, I gave her a long braided brown hair.
So far, her character became Monami's[link] best friend and roommate, and the two have a healthy relationship.
