(note: Manda in this line does not guard the continent of Mu or do battle with the Gotengo...since the Gotengo wasn't made until the next millennia*)

In 1963, An expedition was in line to study a newly arrived land with appears to "submerged" on its own. The land mass was as large as Texas and appears to be linked to the Godzilla raid, 13 years ago.

A group of American and Japanese nationals made their way to the island, but caught in a tragic accident, concerning an attack from an animal. Some of the survivors explained that the animal was around a thousand feet in length and was large enough to wrap itself around the sub. The island later became a "no travel zone" for civilians and only military officials were allowed to enter it (prepared for any attack, of course).

By the end of the century, the animal later began a series of sightings. The creature was dubbed "Manda", and had showed few records of attack, mostly concerning food, rather than agression or animalistic nature. Manda was sometimes seen a foot on land, sleeping or eating. His records shows that he mostly avoid crowded areas or those that are populated by people. He is known to attack anything that threatens him or is trying to steal his teritory. He mostly ignores human contact, since he's sometimes unaware of them.

By the year 2014, Manda became used to the presence of humans. Though he did appear swimming underneath ships and boats,and his size did lead to damages, an attack from the serpent towards humans is much like of those of any wild animals.

~can generate electricity like those of an electric eel. Though the voltage of this energy is weak despite his size.
~adept swimmer, capable of doing 70 knots.
~Manda has two long thin tentacles with bulbs at each end. The bulb acts like a pit organ when Manda swims into deeper trenches.
