Maguma by hewhowalksdeath Maguma by hewhowalksdeath
(note: i have to change his unusual color scheme and texture. I know he's supposed to be a random monster, but i think he deserved that role on Destroy All Monsters.)

Maguma
height: 60 meters
weight: 90,000
length:80 meters

history:

An unusual mutation, Maguma's cause of rapid change is still unknown to date. It is highly impossible for radiation to reach on both global poles, but Maguma's skin samples appear to said that he is, definitely, a mutant. Others would suggest that Maguma belongs to a species of unevolved prehistoric walrus, and may had undergo mutation somewhere on 1962, where it first came on attacking or years before, where it was more docile. Chemist gave wild hunches, like Maguma might have been present of the chemical wars of WWII, and went through the same changes like Godzilla did.

In 2014, Maguma, after 3 years of being absent to the public (Maguma was thought to be killed by the missiles at year 2011, where it attacked Hokkaido), was reawakened after a meteor called "Gorath" hits the northern region of Japan. Along with the slumbering Godzilla, both monsters engaged in combat before being seperated by Godzilla's Beam attack. As Godzilla left his defeated foe, Maguma went on and ended up in New Guinea.

There, Maguma was, once again, locked into another fight, this time with the titanic lobster, Ebirah. The EDF made their way to the clashing titans, with Ebirah gaining the upper hand. Maguma strategized by diving down the waters and let the lobster follow him. After knocking a few submarines, Maguma dodges a missile sent out by another submarine and let it hit Ebirah instead. Shrieking in pain, Ebirah claws down on Maguma, but misfortunately got it clamped down instead and got torn off. Ebirah swam away in retreat, giving the EDF their target back. Maguma was injured enough to cease attacking, forcing him to retreat when the ships and submarines began to attack.

His next appearance was no more than a few months later, where he was taken and recriuted involuntarily on a war. Maguma became of of the Xalien's controlled monster, where they used him to attack Earth, in a war against the humans and an ally race, the Venusians. He attacked New York, but got attacked by Manda, who sided Earth. Maguma was forced to leave his opponent to do battle with his former foe, Godzilla. Godzilla did little time with him. As maguma tried to fight the king with his tusks, he accidentally burrowed them unto Godzilla's hips, at the same time where the monster king unleashed a nuclear pulse, breaking his tusks clear off his gums. Maguma retreats, never to be seen again.

Maguma was seen later on resting in Birth Island, and appears to have made a cave on the island his home where he lived the days of his life in peace.

powers and abilities:
~Sharp Tusks
~hide tough enough to withstand blasts of bombs and incredible temperatures (both hot and cold)
~has a weak oral weapon where he blasts a cloud of cold mist. This weapon was later improved, now has a longer range and stronger freezing abilities.

There were some truly massive prehistoric pinnipeds. While not quite as big as our tusked pal here, they were quite impressive! [link]
