Hardware: Mark-13

"In the 21st century, Mankind went through devastating radiation by nuclear warfare, making Earth almost a barren dessert. A Zone Drifter managed to find some mechanical parts of a worn out cyborg and brought it with him in hopes of selling it. The parts ended up in the hands of a sculptress who makes metallic masterpieces, but unknown to her, the cyborg's well and functioning. Soon, it rebuilds itself, from the parts that it could find and began to massacre everyone around it..."

By 1990, "HARDWARE: M.A.R.K.13" is a cult-hit masterpiece which perfectly blends sci-fi, art, Biblical Prophecies and of course, a slasher film (which is lucky, cuz, no one would touch the stuff by that time!).

HARDWARE is one of the rare perfect blending of sci-fi and slasher flicks, since the two are really hard to pull. Like Chopping Mall, the film's killer is an advanced killing machine (literally) which can rebuild itself when damaged by using metallic parts around it as replacements or upgrades, and since we have a metal sculptress in our hands, we got power drills, chainsaws and other sharp and pointy objects you could shake a stick at.

Despite the low body count, it's a great action-horror flick. Like...Terminator for the 90s!
